Jobs to relatives of deceased employees will be among the demands, A Rengarajan, general secretary, Bank Employees Federation of India, Tamil Nadu said.
BEFI was also demanding setting up of a National Rural Bank of India bringing the entire network of 196 RRBs under its fold and employing over 75,000 persons.
Most of these demands would be discussed in the 8th state conference to be held on Feb 26 and 27 in Chennai, he said.
BEFI would also demand that non-payment of loans be made a criminal offence, he said adding that assets of the guarantor should also be seized along with the defaulters.
