Bomb scare at ITPL, Bangalore

A bomb disposal squad rushed to the place, police said. "Police are monitoring the situation," an ITPL official said.

The bomb threat was received via e-mail by the security in-charge of ITPL, which houses a number of companies, including MNCs.

Vehicles at ITPL, which has five tall buildings and has two million square feet of built-up space, have also been moved out.

ITPL is one of the early technology parks to come up near Bangalore. It has been developed in phases and is one of the major landmarks of Bangalore. The bomb disposal squad is continuing its search.
