Should women work in night shifts?

The government on Tuesday amended the Factories Act, 1946, which will now allow women employees to work in late night shifts, i.e. between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

This will now enable women to take up jobs that require employees to keep late working hours.

Is this is a good move? Why?
