In the coming years, with the help of Rail Land Development Authority other metro stations would also be developed into modern world-class stations and passenger amenities through construction of food plazas and shopping malls on adjacent vacant land would be made available.

The authority, through public-private participation, will develop surplus land adjoining railway stations and goods sheds for construction of warehouses and logistic parks. It would also generate resources for the development of Railways, he said.
