Toyota unveils Innova @ Rs 6.82 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar [ Images ] Motors on Thursday launched Innova [ Images ], a replacement model for its flagship Qualis [ Images ], pricing the base models of petrol and diesel versions at Rs 6.82 lakh and Rs 7.42 lakh respectively.

The company has set a target to sell 45,000 units of Innova, which will give competition to General Motors' [ Images ] Chevrolet [ Images ] Tavera [ Images ], this calendar year and 4,500 in the first month of the launch itself.

The price of the petrol version of Innova, that comes with a 2-litre VVT-i engine, will go up to Rs 9.43 lakh and the top diesel model, with 2.5 litre common rail engine, will be available at Rs 10.03 lakh ex-showroom price in Delhi [ Images ].

Innova comes with adjustable steering and 3 row air-conditioning, the company said.
