Polaris Software Lab Ltd on Friday said that it has been chosen as a partner by Microsoft for launching 'Visual Studio 2005' and 'SQL Server 2005'.
"It is a matter of great pride for Polaris to be Microsoft's launch partner today. Polaris takes this honor to be a recognition of its innovative work in developing products like Collect.NET using Microsoft's cutting-edge technologies," Polaris CEO Koen van Den Brande said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
As Microsoft's ascend partner for these technologies, the company has had access to beta versions of the software and special training from Microsoft on these technologies, Koen added.
The company has also developed a Customer Delinquency Management System, 'Collect.NET', which uses the new SQL Server 2005, it added.
