Call centre firm Customer First Services on Monday said it has bagged a contract from PicoPeta Simputers to handle customer queries and user support for its homemade handheld computer Amida Simputer.
"Customer First, through its call centre operations, would receive queries from users and potential customers based both in India and abroad. The call centre would also provide solutions to the technical queries as well as support the order placement process," Customer First CEO Sandip Sen said in a statement.
It did not mention any financial details of the transaction.
The Bangalore-based Customer First is focused on the domestic market and has operations in the city, besides Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune and Coimbatore.
