The chairman of the board of XIMB, Rajive Kaul, said on Thursday that the 'CII-XIMB Centre of Excellence' would provide executive training to CII member-firms as well as to those seeking self-employment.
The state-of-the-art facility in Bhubaneswar, built at a cost of Rs 3 crore (Rs 30 million) would conduct research and consultancy services on energy, oil, petrochemicals, health care, insurance and outsourcing sectors.
Ranked among the top 10 B-schools in the country, XIMB imparts graduate management programmes in various functional disciplines.
The director of XIMB Father E A Abraham said that the institute was working for uplift of the rural poor and other underprivileged sections of the society.
