The Maybach 62 is not yet available in India, but is said to be just round the corner. The high-end saloon, equipped with jet age automotive technology, will cost you an astronomical Rs 3 crore (Rs 30 million), give or take a few lakhs. This peerless luxury car from the DaimlerChrysler stable is 6.17 metres long. Its V12 Maybach engine develops 405 kW/550 hp. It has sensotronic brake control electrohydraulic braking system, electronically controlled air suspension, voice-controlled operation, and other high-end features. It also boasts of a 600-watt sound system, a four-zone automatic climate control system, two separate air conditioners. It comes outfitted with a DVD player, a TV receiver, a refrigerator, a cordless telephone... And yes, it drives like a dream too. For Rs 3 crore, you’d expect that, wouldn’t you?
