Castrol India [ Get Quote ] has reported a 27 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 28.6 crore (Rs 286 million) for the quarter ended September 30, 2003 as against Rs 39.2 crore (Rs 392 million) in SQ02.

Total income increased one per cent from Rs 283.4 crore (Rs 2.83 million) in SQ02 to Rs 286 crore (Rs 2.86 billion) in the quarter ended September 30, 2003, according to a release issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange [ Images ].
