Pune-based IT solutions provider Kale Consultants Ltd is targeting a revenue of Rs 100 crore (Rs 1 billion) by 2006 from its Business Process Outsourcing business.
"We plan to introduce new services, acquire new clients and service other related verticals to achieve a 50-55 per cent annual growth rate and attain the target of Rs 100 crore within a span of three years," Kale Consultants managing director Vipul Jain told reporters in Mumbai on Tuesday after Kiran Karnik, resident of National Association of Software and Service Companies inaugurated the company's BPO centre.
The company had posted a revenue of Rs 15 crore (Rs 150 million) in FY-03 and expects to post a 66 per cent growth to touch Rs 25 crore (Rs 250 million) by the end of the current financial year, Jain said, adding Kale had business of Rs 1.3 crore (Rs 13 million) per month, which is also expected to rise to Rs 2.5 crore (Rs 25 million) per month.
Kale, which currently has three clients - in Canada, Middle East and Europe - expects customer acquisition to be one of its key strategies.
"We are close to acquiring three new clients," Jain said, even though, he did not divulge further details.
With an increase in workload, Kale would also scale up its workforce from the present 150 staff to around 800 by the 2006, Jain, adding this would be in its BPO business.
The software firm is also planning to expand to other related verticals, including travel, transportation and banking, which Kale expects to bring in additional revenue.
