Khattar quits as Maruti MD; to be reinstated as SMC nomineeJagdish Khattar, managing director of Maruti Udyog Ltd, on Wednesday tendered his resignation to the government. However, he is likely to be renominated to the post by Suzuki Motor Corporation on Thursday after the Japanese partner acquires majority stake in the car-making joint venture.
