RBI says bought net $1.39 billion in JanuaryThe Reserve Bank of India bought a net $1.39 billion in the Indian currency market in January, data in its latest monthly bulletin showed. The RBI bought $2.78 billion and sold $1.39 billion. The central bank made net purchases of $1.04 billion in December.
