RBI sets 5.68% interest on Floating Rate Bonds 2009

The Reserve Bank of India announced on Monday an interest rate of 5.68 per cent on Floating Rate Bonds 2009, applicable for the half year ending June 5, 2003.

The rate is based on the average rate of implicit yields at cut-off prices of the last six 364-day treasury bill auctions held before November 27, to which a mark-up is applied, the central bank said in a statement.

The average worked out to 5.69 per cent to which -0.01 was applied as a mark-up, it said.
