RBI pays Rs 10320-cr dividend to GoI

The Reserve Bank of India is to transfer a dividend of Rs 10,320 crore (Rs 103.20 billion) to the Government of India.

The RBI board, which met in Mumbai on Wednesday, decided to transfer the amount out of its surplus profit for the year ended June 30, 2002, a RBI spokesperson said in a release.
