Dalal told to surrender on August 8

A special court on Wednesday granted two weeks' time to stock broker Hiten Dalal to surrender in a 1991 scam case in which he has been convicted.

Justice D K Trivedi, hearing Dalal's petition, directed him to surrender before his court on August 8.

The judge also asked Dalal not to leave the limits of Bombay and Thane and report to the court every day.
