Bill Gates launches msn.co.in

Microsoft chairman Bill Gates launched the Indian version of the Microsoft Network portal, msn.co.in

He also stated that a .NET laboratory will be launched in Karnataka to develop products for dot-net platforms.

Earlier in the day, Gates met with the chief ministers of ten states in New Delhi and later had a meeting with Information Technology Minister Pramod Mahajan.

Microsoft has also tied up with software services giant Infosys Technologies for a strategic global relationship for developing, promoting, and delivering a comprehensive portfolio of Infosys business solution offerings and enterprise services built using the Microsoft .NET Enterprise Server platform.

Gates is in India for 24 hours from where he will proceed for the Sydney Olympics.
