The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week held in New Delhi recently saw a major wardrobe malfunction when a Belgian model's top slipped off her shoulders on the ramp, revealing her assets.

We asked readers to comment on whether such incidents are deliberately planned by organisers to gain publicity or take place simply due to bad timing or faulty garments.

Here are a few of the interesting responses!

Fashion in INDIA is a GOBAR GAS industry....all worst result takers in their school-days are Designers with their corrupt daddys money....Idiotic activities and copying others...like what they did in their school days....all CHUTZZAPPAHHHHHHH.

-- Red Chillies

Wardrobe malfunction can happen, since most of these fashion clothes are piece of cloth which dont have proper hooks or buttons. Then why cant these models wear proper under garments. These models only want show their assets and the fashion designers want publicity

-- Ram Mohan

I don't have time to care about these malfunctions.
Simply the media blew it out of proprtions.
I was fed up whatching news channel

-- Abhijeet Bagkar

Everybody knows that peagent is not for conservatives who can go to temples and other places where the chances of malfunctions are less. Whats wrong in little bit of flush. pART OF THE GAME AND SO ENJOY IT.

-- Navneet

It is ethically wrong. youth do get provoked for lust by seeing this. it is natural. then they will do eve teasing or may be rape. u cannot provoke anybody for crime and then blame him if he commits it...

-- Krishna Tripathi

I would strongly surmise that a "wardrobe malfunction" is not in the best interests of the Fashion Designer concerned. Since they would like to be known for their creations why should they engage in a stunt that takes away attention from the costume? Additionally I am sure that the Pageants allow them as much a show of flesh as would be decently permissible in public without inviting legal censure. I for one would not risk desiring to be known for costumes that do not fit quite well if I were a dress designer.

-- Nirpinder Singh

You're so wrong Nirpinder. Them fashion designers have little by way of talent apart from satiating the public's appetite for sleaze. And we suck up to such pageants pretending to be the "oh-so-cool" intelligentsia. Shame on us.

What do you think of wardrobe malfunctions at public events? Do you think they are orchestrated on purpose, or are they simply unfortunate incidents that catch everyone unawares? Post your comments on the message board below!
