What: National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language's one year diploma in Computer Applications and Multilingual DTP.

Date of Issue: Tuesday, June 10, 2008

Last date for submission of application form: 30th June, 2008 (5 pm)

Interview: 1st to 5th July, 2008 (10 am to 5 pm)

Display of final list: 7th July, 2008

Classes start from: 10th July, 2008 (Thursday)

Course details:

~ Module I: Information Technology
~ Module II: Business Systems
~ Module III: Web Application Development
~ Module IV: Programming through Visual Basic
~ Module V: Multilingual DTP
~ Module VI: Project Work

Eligibility: Students who have passed Intermediate (10+2) level of examination from a recognised board or an equivalent examination are eligible for admission. Students with higher qualifications with Science subjects will be preferred. Students should have attained the age of 17 years and must be below the age of 35 years on the date of application. An Interview for selection/admission of students will be conducted by a Selection Committee.

Fee structure: Students admitted will be required to pay a monthly fee of Rs 250 p.m (Rs 500 p.m. in case of residents of state capitals).

The Council has launched One Year Diploma Course in Urdu through Distance Education in English & Hindi Medium. All students are required to compulsorily take admission in this course.
