What: The Indian Institute of Social Welfare And Business Management (IISWBM) invites applications for admission to the two-year MBA (Session 2009-2011) and two-year MHRM (Session 2009-2011) degree courses of Calcutta University.

Eligibility
~ Honours degree in any discipline 

~ Graduate in any professional course (Engineering, etc), LLB (5 years) of a recognised University.

~ Those who will be appearing at such examinations within June 2009 may also apply.

Selection
Through the Common Admission Test (CAT) of the IIMs. IISWBM uses CAT for shortlisting the candidates for both courses. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme. To appear in CAT minimum 50 per cent marks is required and for SC/ST etc 45 per cent marks in Bachelor's Degree (Details available in CAT notification).

For admission to IISWBM, one has to apply to CAT and also apply separately to IISWBM for which Brochure and Application Forms are to be obtained from IISWBM. The last date of issue of CAT Bulletins is 08.08.2008 and from IIMs 13.08.2008.

On the basis of CAT score, IISWBM will call selected candidates, who have applied to IISWBM, for Group Discussion and Interview at the Institute.

Application Form and Brochure
Available from the Reception Counter of IISWBM on cash payment of Rs 1,000/- or against Bank Draft of Rs 1,075/- payable on any Bank at Kolkata in favour of the institute.

Last date of issue and receipt of completed application form is December 5, 2008

Classes Commence in July 2009.
