Kunal Rawal is all set to storm the runway at the Lakme Fashion Week with his pret-a-porter collection 'Free Hugs' in men's and women's wear.
The line is a collection of denim and casual wear, an extension of his fashion label D.stress. Hues of whites, blues and greys are contrasted with neon, orange, tobacco and indigo in cottons, linen, polyester, heavy cottons and jersey show the biker influence, and are accessorised with casual flip-flops and suede wallets.
The 22-year-old has created garments with a spunky retro feel, splashed with feel-good messages like "Life is good", "Have a nice day" or "Make your mother proud".
The men's line has a raw and unwashed look with an innovative trench coat effect and smart casual jackets. A casual cum semi-formal look flows into the collection as contemporary hoodies and granddad shirts with side pockets are enhanced with metallic zips that adds a multi-functional touch.
Rawal is due to open Day 3 of Fashion Week (October 15).
