With speakers from the pioneers of the Multimedia Industry like NVIDIA, Texas Instruments and Imagination Technologies and academicians from renowned institutes like IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi, Aagomani '07 aims at providing an in-depth knowledge of the upcoming technologies, trends and innovations in the ever so popular field of Digital Entertainment. It provides you an opportunity to look into the techniques and tools utilised to develop state-of-the-art graphics, High-resolution Digital Video and hardware devices which can emulate the needs of high memory and real time graphics.
Lectures include eminent speakers like Dr. Ajit Rao (Texas Instruments), James McCarthy and Jeremy Abington (Imagination Technologies). Dr. Rao will be speaking on "Video, Video everywhere: Digital Video Applications" while James will speak on "An Intelligent Approach to Embedded Graphics" and Jeremy on "Digital Receivers". Dr CP Mammen (NVIDIA) will speak on the NVIDIA GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) technologies.
Apart from the lectures and workshop, Aagomani '07 has competitions like technical quiz and techno-journalism with prizes worth Rs 15,000.
