What: Admission to part-tme diploma courses under State Board of Technical Education, Haryana, Chandigarh

 

Details:


~ It is notified for the information of the deserving candidates that the admission to the part-time diploma dourses in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering to be conducted at Govt. Polytechnic, Ambala City.

~ The admission brochure shall be available for sale at Govt. Polytechnic, Ambala City, from 08 August 2007 at Rs 500 and 125  respectively for the candidates of general and reserved categories. 

~ Intake of 80 in Electrical and 40 in Mechanical Engineering shall be conducted at Government Polytechnic,
Ambala City as per the following schedule:

 

~ Last date for receipt of applications at G.P. Ambala City: August 08 2007

 

~ Date of counselling: 22 August.2007

 

Eligibility:

 

1. a) The candidates should have passed Matriculation from a recognised board/university.

 

b) The candidates should have passed ITI course of two years duration in the relevant field with one year experience.

OR

 

Should have passed 10+2 Vocational course in the relevant field with one year experience.

OR

 

Should have passed ITI course of one year duration in the relevant field with experience of two years in the relevant field.

OR

 

Should have passed Matriculation from a recognised university/board and should also possess working experience of three years in the relevant field, undertaking assignment in Govt/Semi-Govt. autonomous organisation. Experience gained before 14 years of age and before passing qualifying exam shall not be considered.

 

2. Minimum age limit for admission is 18 years as on the date of counselling.
