FIRST LOOK

Time to go backless

Designer Anshu Arora Sen is known to play with a gamut of colours.

This year was no different.

She used colours like orange and acid green to give a very dramatic look. She has also used silk and organza fabrics.

Post-Memoirs Of A Geisha, the kimono seems to be back in fashion (see, inset, red kimono dress).

We also liked the backless red one piece, hung together with one thin string on the neck. It had intricate side draping at the hip to form an asymmetric hemline.

Can you wear these?

Anshu's clothes seem wearable, but nowhere close to subtle. They project a vibrant, bold attitude. Anshu seemed to be saying -- if you have it, flaunt it.

Celeb quotient: Aamir Khan's wife, Kiran Rao, was in the audience for Anshu's show.

Anshu's clothes are available at:
