Talk about investments and you automatically think equity (shares and mutual funds that invest in shares), debt (bonds, fixed deposits, debentures), real estate or gold.

But have you ever considered an off-beat investment?

The list can include anything: art, coins, antiques, stamps, comic books, first editions of books, autographs, memorabilia of celebrities and so on. Anything that will increase in value over time and fetch you a superlative return if you sell it years down the road.

Tell us what you think will make a good off-beat investment. Or, if you have already made money with such an investment, share your story with us. You may even know of someone who has made such an investment.

Go on, pen down your thoughts or experiences. We would love to read what you have to say.
