XLRI invites applications for XAT

What: Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, invites applications for XAT, its admission test for academic programmes at XLRI and 35 other management institutes.

Programmes list

  • BM: Two-year post graduate programme in business management
  • PMIR: Two-year post graduate programme in personnel management and industrial relations
  • FPM: Four-year fellow programme in management
  • GMP: One-year general management programme

Are you eligible?

~ For BM and PM&IR programmes: You must be a graduate who has completed three years of bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by a university or deemed university. You may also apply if you are completing your final examination by June 10, 2007.

~ For GMP: you must have a minimum five years of relevant experience after graduation (10+2+3) as on March 31, 2007.

~ For Exec-PGP: You must have a minimum of three years managerial experience after graduation (10+2+3) as on May 31, 2007.

Important dates

XLRI prospectus (at SBI branches and XAT office) and online registration: September 1 to November 30

How to apply

~ The XAT bulletin containing the details of XAT and application procedure for XLRI and other institutes can be obtained from major branches of State Bank of India in major cities in Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Chhatisgarh and Madhya Pradesh for Rs 700 (non-refundable).

Enclose a third copy of XAT/Bank pay-in slip along with the XAT PP form that can be downloaded from the web site.

~ You can also obtain the XAT Bulletin by sending a DD for Rs 750 (non-refundable) drawn in favour of XAT Jamshedpur payable at SBI, XLRI Branch, (4660) alongwith the XAT PP form that can be downloaded.
