Finally, mothers and wives have conclusive proof.

The American Journal of Public Health recently published a scientific study with evidence that people who watch more television are likely to be less active. Apparently, every hour of television watched daily means you are 47 per cent more likely to miss out on normal exercise!

Experts believe every healthy human being should walk at least 10,000 steps per day. Couch potatoes, however, walk 144 fewer steps for every hour spent watching television.
