Bangalore designer Deepika Govind's collection featured many hues of blue, purple, red, copper and gold. We saw bubble dresses, asymmetrical skirts, puffed sleeves, bustiers and lots of bottoms, which seemed like a cross between dhotis, sarongs and pants.

Most garments were layered and featured symmetrical cuts. Materials included brocade, velvet, crimped chiffon and printed fabric that was mixed and matched right through the show.

Can you wear this? Most outfits were a quaint mix 'n' match of fabric, prints and cuts. But we'd love to try them.

Where to buy: 21/11, Craig Park Layout, Behind Nalli Silks, MG Road, Bangalore 1. Tel: (080) 25321786.
