Your wedding is drawing near and you are all pins and needles about looking your very best.
Here are some quick fix tips to get fit.
Practise these regularly and look just GREAT on your special day!
For grooms-to-be
i. Jogging for at least half an hour every day will really get you in top shape for the big day.
This will also make your energy levels soar.
ii. Pump up your arms by holding 5-10 kilogramme dumbbells at your sides. Bring them closer to your shoulders by bending only at the elbows. Repeat 10 times.
Now, watch her drool over your bulging biceps!
iii. Again, for your arms: Hold a dumbbell in one hand over your head. Bend only your elbow 90 degrees behind your head.
Repeat 10 times with each arm. This will make the back of your upper arms look great.
iv. For that sexy six-pack, lie on your back with legs bent and feet on the floor.
Interlock your fingers behind your head. Now, lift your shoulders up while looking at the ceiling till you feel the pressure in your stomach.
Do three sets of 25 repetitions each. It could be painful, but the effort will be worth it.
v. Squatting as much as possible will make your legs stronger in no time. Add some weight on your shoulders with a barbell to make it more difficult.
vi. Avoid fatty foods. Eat a high-protein diet; this will make your muscles grow faster.
For brides to be
i. To lose that pre-wedding fat, walk briskly or jog for 30 minutes daily.
ii. To look fabulous in your lehenga, whenever possible pull in your stomach as much as you can.
Hold for a few seconds and release. This is a great way to tone your abs and you can do it anytime, anywhere!
Similarly, squeeze and release your buttocks to get firmer hips.
iii. An unsightly paunch is something you can do without during this important time in your life.
Lie on your back with your feet raised up towards the ceiling. Lift your hips in a rolling movement towards your head. This will really tone up your lower abs.
iv. To look super sexy in your backless choli, lie down on your stomach, facing downward.
Place your palms on your back below the waist. Now slowly pull your shoulders up and back, keeping your feet on the ground. Repeat 20 times.
v. When you are on your honeymoon and want to look hot in that bikini, firm your legs the way the models do.
While standing, raise your right let to the side of your body as high as you can. Keep your back straight. Bring your leg down without touching the floor.
Repeat 20 times on each leg.
vi. To make yourself glow, drink 10-12 glasses of water daily to flush out toxins.
vii. To get that perfect bod even faster, try and avoid sweets and fried foods as much as possible.
Hot tip for the bridal couple: Just because the wedding and honeymoon is over, doesn't mean you should give up on your healthy spree.
Make a life-long habit of being more active, whatever way you choose. Consistency is the key to keeping fit!
