Ever been on a snow scooter?

The visitors are not only enjoying the snow and the chilly weather, they are also having a nice time riding snow scooters, which can be used only in this weather.

"The scooter ride was amazing. I really enjoyed it. I haven't gone abroad, but it feels like it is something like abroad," said Sachin, a tourist.

The snow scooters cost between Rs 500,000 and Rs 600,000 and were brought to Manali from European countries a few years ago.

These scooters are also a source of employment for the locals.

But their owners have a complaint: since the roads are covered with snow, access to Manali is impaired. The locals are now entreating the government to look into the matter.
