What: Beginning July 7, Air-India is launching 14 new flights to Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur from India.

Singapore schedules

~ Air-India will now have 16 flights a week to and from Singapore.

~ There will be non-stop services from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad. 

~ Seven flights will link Chennai to Singapore.

~ Four flights will operate from Delhi.

~ Five flights will operate from Mumbai every week. Three of these flights -- on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays -- will be non-stop. They will be extended to connect to Jakarta.

~ Two flights will be routed via Hyderabad.

Kuala Lumpur schedules

~ The AI service to Kuala Lumpur will be increased to 13 flights a week.

~ There will be seven flights from Chennai.

~ There will be three non-stop flights each from Mumbai and Delhi.

~ The flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Kuala Lumpur will be operated with standardised timings on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Hong Kong schedules

~ The service to Hong Kong will be increased to 12 flights a week.

~ There will be five flights from Mumbai to Hong Kong via Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

~ Seven additional flights will be operated to Hong Kong from Mumbai via Delhi. Three of these flights will be extended to Osaka and four of them will be extended to Seoul.

~ The New Delhi-Hong Kong-Seoul flights will initially be operated four times a week -- Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Bangkok schedules

~ Air-India will operate 11 flights a week to Bangkok from Mumbai.

~ Of these, five will be extended to Hong Kong and six flights will operate to Bangkok from Mumbai via Delhi.

~ Four of the Mumbai-Bangkok flights will proceed further to Shanghai and the other two to Tokyo, thus offering connectivity to Hong Kong, in addition to Shanghai and Tokyo, from Bangkok.

Seoul schedules

~ Air-India is recommencing services to South Korea effective July 7, after a gap of almost six years.

~ Four flights a week will operate from Mumbai to Seoul via Delhi and Hong Kong with standardised timings on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
