Then, the former Miss India-Universe runner-up quit a booming career to marry Italian businessman Gianmaria Emendotori.

She now lives in Italy, the Mecca of fashion and style. And here are a few of her passions!

My clothes

For me, comfort is very important. I don't wear tight clothes.

My favourite outfit is a pair of jeans, a tee shirt and keds (sneakers).

I love saris -- I have just started wearing them.

I also like knee-length skirts. I don't wear tiny skirts any longer, though my husband wants me to wear them.

My wardrobe has become more colourful.

Earlier, I wore loads of black.

After moving to Italy, I have learnt to put things together [in terms of clothes] because everybody there is so well dressed -- be it a gardener or a carpenter or a businessman. They have a great sense of style.
