It is the Dil Chahta Hai look.

We designed the look according to the character I play. It was done in consultation with Avan, who's our hair specialist. She sat down with the characters of the film and designed the look accordingly.

Lagaan was a period film while Dil Chahta Hai is contemporary.

The audiences should find that interesting.
