The Bahujan Samaj Party announced its second list of candidates on Tuesday, for the May 3 and 8 Assembly elections in the union territory.
Addressing a press conference, BSP state president Thanga Kalaimaran said the party president Mayawati would participate in the electioneering on May 5 and address a public meeting to introduce the candidates and release the election manifesto.
The candidates in the second list are: Raja Pathar (Nellithoppe), Seenu Sundaramurty (Kuruvinatham), MOKA Venkateshnara Rao (Yanam), Suba Suresh Raju (Nedumgadu), R Jeevanandam (Kottucherry), M Shankar (Karaikal), Selvamani (Karaikal-South), M Selvaraj (Neravi) and Sadique Ali (Thirunallar).
The BSP had earlier released the first list of eight candidates.
