Former Jharkhand chief minister Arjun Munda will move the Supreme Court on the pro-tem speaker's failure to conduct a trial of strength in the Jharkhand assembly in violation of an apex court's order.
In an affidavit, likely to be filed on Saturday, Munda would also seek a stay on Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief Shibu Soren from continuing as chief minister, sources close to the Bharatiya Janata Party leader said.
The affidavit will detail the events that unfolded in the assembly on Friday and the manner in which it was adjourned to March 15.
The affidavit would also mention about the disqualification notice issued to independent legislator Enos Ekka by the pro-tem Speaker Pradeep Kumar Balmachu.
The Supreme Court had on Wednesday ordered floor test in the assembly on March 11, instead of March 15.
