Around 85 candidates, including senior Bihar ministers Shakuni Choudhury, Srinarayan Yadav and Ravindra Charan Yadav, submitted their nomination papers on Tuesday for the 86 assembly seats in Bihar going to the polls in the second phase on February 15.

While Health Minister Shakuni Choudhury submitted his papers for the Tarapur assembly seat and Urban Development Minister Srinarayan Yadav for Balia, Industry Minister Ravindra Charan Yadav filed his nomination papers for the Uda Kushunganj assembly seat.
Another minister Ashok Kumar Singh filed his nomination papers from the Sonebersa assembly constituency.
Former Bihar minister and Samajwadi Party leader S P Tekriwal filed his papers from Saharsa.
January 27 is the last date of filing of nominations for the second phase of polling. Scrutiny of papers will be done the next day and January 31 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations.
