Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday announced the first list of 58 candidates for the first phase of Bihar Assembly election.
He also announced a list of 21 candidates for the polls in Jharkhand.
In the first phase of election on February 3, 64 Assembly seats will go to poll in Bihar and 24 in Jharkhand.
Yadav told newspersons in Patna that the RJD had left two seats for the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and three for the CPI.
The RJD would not field candidate against the Congress nominee in Kahalgaon, he said.
He had earlier announced that the RJD would not field candidates against the 14 Congress sitting members of Legislative Assembly.
He, however, said the RJD would be involved in 'friendly contests' with the Congress in the other seats.
The Congress has announced it would contest 80 seats in Bihar.
