Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi's brother and Gopalganj Rashtriya Janata Dal member of Parliament Anirudh Prasad, alias Sadhu Yadav was on Friday ordered not to stay in the district between February 21 and February 27 to ensure free and peaceful conduct of assembly polls.

Besides Yadav, district magistrate-cum-district election officer K K Pathak also served the order to former MP from Gopalganj and now Lok Janshakti Party national spokesman Kali Pandey, Gopalganj district board member and Bahujan Samaj Party candidate from Kataiya assembly seat Amrendra alias Pappu Pandey, and RJD nominee from Kataiya Kiran Devi.

The four were warned of stern action if they violated the order.

Sadhu Yadav's wife Indira Yadav is contesting from the Gopalganj assembly seat as an independent. The election for the seat will be held on February 23.

Sadhu Yadav and Kali Pandey have also been debarred from neighbouring Siwan district till February 28, sources said.

The sources said officer-in charge of town police station Arun Kumar Sinha has been removed from election work and asked to report to the district police headquarters. The action follows a report from the district election observer.
