BJP wrests Guler seat from Cong in Himachal Pradesh

Harbans Singh Rana of the Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] has been declared elected from Guler constituency in Kangra district in the Himachal Pradesh [ Images ] assembly by-poll.

He defeated his nearest rival Neeraj Bharati (Congress) by over 1,100 votes. The BJP wrested the seat from Congress.
