Vajpayee congratulates Manmohan

Outgoing Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee [ Images ] telephoned his successor Manmohan Singh [ Images ] on Wednesday night and congratulated him on his appointment to the top post.
Vajpayee telephoned Singh after President A P J Abdul Kalam [ Images ] invited him to form government, official sources said.
