Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar said on Thursday that his party will take a decision on joining the Congress-led government by May 15.
"We are calling a meeting of our party day after tomorrow and decide on that (joining a Congress-led government)," Pawar said in Mumbai.
Asked whether his party's bargaining power will come down if the Left parties support the Congress, he said, "Where is the question of bargaining power when we decided to go with Congress."
Referring to his talks with CPM chief Harkishen Singh Surjeet, he said, "NDA should not come to power and we should ensure that."
About his party's performance, Pawar said NCP had won in 16 seats in the last election and the trend shows further improvement.
He dismissed speculations that NCP was in talks with BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
