Campaigning for the fourth phase of the general election ends on Monday evening.
Polling will be held for 83 constituencies, including Lucknow from where Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is contesting, on May 5.
At 1700 IST, rallies will draw to a close and public address systems blaring speeches, slogans and songs will be switched off.
Elections will be held in Rajasthan (all 25 constituencies), Uttar Pradesh (30 out of the 80 constituencies), Madhya Pradesh (12 out of 29), Bihar (12 of 40), Jammu and Kashmir (one), Nagaland (one) and Arunachal Pradesh (two).
As many as 921 candidates, including 64 women, are in the fray.
The first three phases of the election saw polling in a little over half of the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies on April 20, April 22 and April 26. The last phase on May 10 will cover 189 constituencies.
