The Congress on Wednesday released its first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha election.
Jaipal Reddy, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kamal Nath and Margaret Alva are in the list of 75.
Other prominent names in the list that covers 21 states are C K Jaffer Sharief and Santosh Mohan Deb.
Announcing the decision, All India Congress Committee general secretary Ambika Soni said most of the candidates named in the list were members of the dissolved 13th Lok Sabha.
