In the wake of furore in Mumbai during the Lok Sabha polls owing to several names missing from the electoral rolls, the Election Commission has agreed to consider revising the rolls in Maharashtra after the elections, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Ram Naik said in Delhi on Friday.

Naik, who is the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from the Mumbai North constituency, said in a statement that he met Deputy Election Commissioner A N Jha in Delhi on Friday and discussed the issue of thousands of names missing from the electoral rolls though they possessed voter's identity cards issued by the Election Commission.
Naik said the EC has also agreed to provide postal ballots to those on poll duty.
