Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Tuesday made it clear that if he gets another term in office, he would not leave it midway.
Addressing an election meeting in Lucknow, he said some journalists had asked him whether he intended to 'retire' halfway through another tenure. "I will not leave in the middle. Don't worry," he told the rally.
He said people got upset when he spoke of retirement. "Lekin ab retire hone ka waqt ho raha hai (But, the time for my retirement is near)," he admitted.
