Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Friday thanked the 'Pakistani janta' for their exemplary behaviour during the just-concluded cricket series.
Addressing an election campaign in Ahmedabad, he congratulated the Indian team for its overseas series victory and said 'we have to learn from the behaviour of the Pakistani spectators'.

Pointing to the improving relations between the two countries, Vajpayee said, "This is a new beginning, but how far we will be successful is difficult to say. India wants to establish peace with its neighbours and its image all over the world is good."
