    Reader's Take

    Was the umpiring bad?

Let's not make big issue about the umpiring on such a great tour.

I do agree that the umpires have not been correct on some occasion, but we have to keep in mind that umpires make mistakes. There have been umpiring mistakes made that have not been in the favor of Pakistan, for example, the LBW dismissal of Youhana in the 5th ODI.

      Turning point
    Inzamam's dismissal

Without doubt, Inzamam-ul Haq is Pakistan's most talented batsman. As long as he was at the crease, the Indians could not breathe easy. But the Pakistan skipper was beaten by a perfect out-swinger from Laxmipathy Balaji. He got a fine edge and Parthiv Patel did the rest behind the stumps. Inzamam walked even before the umpire could give his verdict. Thereafter, the Pakistanis, at 94 for 5, had only pride to play for.
