Players around the world are getting jittery about playing in the Indian Premier League in the wake of the Lahore terror attack on the Sri Lankan team but Cricket South Africa on Monday said it has no objection in sending it's players for the Twenty20 tournament.

The second edition of the cash-rich event is scheduled to kick off on April 10 in Mumbai.

England players Andrew Flintoff, Kevin Pietersen and New Zealand all rounder Jacob Oram have hinted they might skip the event on security grounds.

Cricket South Africa spokesperson Michael Owen-Smith said CSA has no objection "whatsoever" to their national cricketers playing in the IPL.

"Cricket SA has taken no decision objecting to our players being involved in the IPL. Any suggestion to the contrary is not true," Owen-Smith said.

Owen-Smith said safety of players is a matter for the players and their teams concerned.
