Sri Lanka on Monday announced a 15-member squad for the first three ODIs against India, the same bunch that beat Pakistan 2-1 in the recent cricket series.
The Selection Committee that met in Colombo today decided to retain the same 15 players with Mahela Jayawardene as the skipper for the first three ODIs against India, the first of which is scheduled on Wednesday at Dambulla.
The selectors also put Malinga Bandara, Chamara Silva, Mahela Udawatte and Chanaka Welagedara on stand by.
Squad: Mahela Jaywardene (captain), Kumar Sangakkara (vice captain), Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Chamara Kapugedera, Jehan Mubarak, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Thilina Kandamby, Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajantha Mendis, Farveez Maharoof, Dilhara Fernando, Nuwan Kulasekera, Thilina Thushara and Angelo Mathews.
