Mumbai drop Kulkarni, include Bahutule

Mumbai's selection committee, headed by Padmakar Shivalkar, dropped veteran left-arm spinner Nilesh Kulkarni and included another seasoned

campaigner, leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule, in the team for the season's first Ranji Trophy tie against Rajasthan [ Images ] in Mumbai next month.

Bahutule returned to the Mumbai fold after playing for Maharashtra [ Images ] in the 2007-08 season.

The squad, to be led by opener Wasim Jaffer [ Images ], includes young slow bowler Ankit Chavan and medium pacer Rohan Raje, who were members of the Mumbai Indians' [ Images ] IPL side.

The November 3-6 Elite Division match will be played at the Cricket Club of India's, Brabourne Stadium.

The squad: Wasim Jaffer (captain), Ajit Agarkar [ Images ] (vice-captain), Ajinkya Rahane [ Images ], Sahil Kukreja, Amol Muzumdar, Rohit Sharma [ Images ], Abhishek Nayar [ Images ], Sairaj Bahutule, Ranmesh Powar, Vinayak Samant (wk), Usman Malvi, Dhaval Kulkarni, Ankit Chavan, Rohan Raje and Hiken Shah.
